  2. Have the boys look for a "Chinese" fishing lure to bring home!! That will be a great keepsake and it will be a lure the fish here have never seen, so they will surely bite it!! Can't wait to take Emilt fishing!

  4. Okay, Tammy, you wanted me to comment, so here goes. I have so enjoyed all of the pix and comments you have made. I feel like I have had a mini-tour of China. I am proud of the different foods you all have tried, please try to go back to some kind of supermarket and tell me about the different foods you see (when you get home), especially at the meat counter!
Tammy, Kate and I took Lilly and Isabella to Frisco Mall Saturday to get Lilly's ears pierced for her birthday and Isabella insisted that she get her's pierced, also! They both did it, but trauma, trauma, trauma for Isabella. I think it was because she just had her tonsils out a week before and she wasn't feeling too good. But, anyway, please let me pay for Emily's ears to be pierced ASAP! We don't have to tell Roger until the deed is done, HA-Ha! This whole trip and adoption is such an awesome blessing to our entire family...Christmas will be so special this year with 2 new granddaughters! We love you all and are praying for your trip home. Ryan and Jonny, we want to hear details, details, details!!!

    Love, Mimi

WoW! We have loved reading your daily entries and seeing the pictures! All of this is just so amazing!!! I just keep thinking back through all of the months (turned years!) that you guys have waited for this. Praying, wondering, and dreaming about a precious little baby girl, with a face that at that time was known only by God. So often we'd ask about the status and every now and then we would ask you guys if you thought she might have been born yet... Now it is REAL and she IS born and actually in your arms now and we are sooooo happy and excited for you guys!!! We want you to know that we truly admire the two of you for your unwavering faith throughout this process! Regardless of the delays or how much time would pass, you both continued to trust God's plan and His always perfect timing! Now, seeing the pictures, and, especially, the video of Emily and your now complete family, it is so clear (even through my tears!) just how graciously our Lord has blessed you for your faithfulness and patience! Roger and Tammy, you are amazing parents, incredible, loyal, gracious, and faithful friends, and at the top of a very short list of people who we trust completely both in our lives and with the precious lives of our children. And what's truly awe-inspiring is the number of people in your lives who also share the same feelings about you! You guys are very special people and we consider ourselves blessed to have you as our friends! Jonny and Ryan, it sure looks like you will both have your hands full now! It also looks and sounds like you guys are enjoying every minute of it! We can not wait to meet Emily and introduce her to our Scott/Patton family traditions and vacations! Love you guys! Stay safe!

  10. Hello from Jean and Miriam, the toes taste like??? Your last days seem to be going so well. By now, I would had shot at least 300 photos or gone through a large photo card. Memories are so good to have and keep near your heart. Stay safe.
